Another 1 down, 4 to go

This week has been sort of long and yet short. Monday was my second treatment. It went a lot better than the first one. They took a couple extra hours to get everything into me. Different anti-nausea meds, more saline, slower administration of the chemo drugs, and then I was outta there! I started to get foggy in the head but not really headachy this time. Thank goodness for that.

I was able to watch some Dead Like Me while sitting there. That was good, made the extra hours I was there go a bit faster. Mom came and had lunch with me, so that broke up the monotony too. I tried to read a bit, and draw but ended up just watching the DVDs I brought. But that is why I brought them, didn't know what I was going to feel like doing while there, but at least I was prepared.

Tuesday was not too bad, tired but otherwise not feeling too terrible. Wednesday was the first day I really felt tired but nothing else too bad. The head was a little woozy but otherwise good. Thursday was a whole new day, I felt drunk and hungover again, really tired. I have also been cold a lot, but I don't have an infection or fever to worry about, I think it is just missing my hair. LOL I still am not Kojack, but close. Really debating about shaving what's left with my razor and getting rid of the stubble. But that is a job I will need help with since I don't have the energy, the manual dexterity from surgery side effects and I don't have eyes in the back of my head (for that I am VERY thankful, what a sight that would be huh? LOL).

Today is Friday and I am still really tired and woozy in the head, but not as bad as yesterday. I went over to my Mom's to visit since my sis from Edmonton is here for Easter, had lunch and supper and no nap. Now I am exhausted, but that is ok, it was good to get out of the house since I didn't go anywhere all week.

Tomorrow I will probably go to the mall and pick up the letter that has been waiting for me for a week. I have no idea what it is, but I guess I better find out ASAP in case its really important.

Alright, that is an update in a nutshell.
