Ok, just had to share this, I will expand it later cuz I have to get to bed....
Went to the movies with my sis tonight, on the way home noticed this car at a dealership was pointing in a funny direction. I thought it was just one of those fancy displays showing how some new 4x4 can handle steep angles, then I noticed that the headlights were on and someone was inside. Well, looks like someone drove forward when they should've backed up and drove off the retaining wall. Anyway...will do this entry justice later, gotta run...

So I am roasting...
...because I was dancing (just before bed, I know, I know). But I always get the urge to dance once it is late. I don't know why, but I just do. Mind you the mood can strike me any time of the day or night, but I really like dancing just before bed. It may be due to procrastination, as much as I like to sleep and dream, I also love staying up, even when I shouldn't. So yeah, some of the night dancing might be due to the immature need to fly in the face of authority (even if its mine LOL) and do what I want even though I really should be doing something else.
Ok enough of that.
What I really wanted to share was about how I am roasting now that I have been dancing a bit. Way too warm to be able to lay down and sleep. So I figure, I'll go outside and cool off. Its basically mid-October, my favorite month, and its nice and cool out. We had a little sprinkle of rain at supper time, enough to leave the grass wet because its too cool and humid for it to evaporate. So instead of heading up to bed I go out on the deck and look up at the stars and I see a plane almost directly overhead. As I am looking at it, out of the corner of my eye, to the left, I see a bright flash of light! So I look over, just in time to see what must have been a meteorite streaking through the sky. The tail lasted about a second or two before fading, the body that made it I barely saw before its light was extinguished. But wow, what a nice treat, and all I went out to do was to cool off! This happened at approximately 10:45pm MDT just above the tail of the dipper (in the north), streaking from the north to the west.
So after that I watched another, higher plane pass by, this time heading east (the first had been heading west) and they almost passed along the same line in the sky. I wonder how close they were when they passed each other up there. And this time I was walking around, barefoot of course, and in shorts and a t-shrit, in the wet grass. It was very calm out there, little to no breeze and just the sound of the planes overhead and a few dogs barking in the distance. Noticed a few of them started barking just after the meteorite disappeared, wonder if they noticed it? LOL
Anyhow, I am off to get ready for bed. I have to be up early again tomorrow. I have my First Aid training again. Got 100% on my test today, hopefully it will be the same tomorrow. Oh and I think I will take the AED (automated external defibrillator) training too, even though I didn't originally sign up for it. It seems to make sense to have it, its only an additional $20 to take it, so what the Hel.
Ok enough of that.

C'est Fini!
Radiation is history! I am done.
This means, according to interviews with my cat Freya, "She is home now, full time, until she returns to work. This means I have a lot of time to take my continued displeasure out on her! She left me alone for too long and now she is going to PAY!!"
Yes, finally I get to stay home. I can harass and love my kitty as much as she can stand and as much as my very scratched and bitten arms and hands can handle. LOL She is such a sweetheart but definitely knows how to tell me she is pissed at me.
So despite and potential abuse by my cat, I am very glad to be home. No more weekly trips to Calgary, no more treatments. However, the maintenance/observation stage is just beginning. This round of radiation wasn't as hard on me as the first time, and for that I am very thankful. I had good roommates at the hostel, even made a friend to keep in touch with. Also, drove in Calgary for the first time. I did just fine, only a little anxious. As long as I know where I am going and what lane I need to be in, or have a reliable co-pilot I think I will be ok. OH, and as long as I avoid Deerfoot like the plague, I should be fine!
So this week and next is full of getting back to life. Calls to my employer, recertification in First Aid/CPR, going to check into some extra means of earning some money (including some crafty stuff I may try selling in town and even online if I can get organized enough). New kinds of stress but I welcome it, its called LIFE. I figure, I'll give it about 6 months before the complaining starts, but even that I look forward to. I miss complaining about work. LOL
And I can't forget, getting back to dance classes! I am so excited to have that diversion again too.
